Information processed in the app

FocusStepper is designed to keep your working data on your device.

• The app stores settings such as shot count, timing values, focus calibration values, saved bracket setups, focus profiles, and onboarding state in local device storage.
• Bluetooth is used to discover, connect to, and communicate with compatible Sony cameras.
• Camera connection state and session data are used to operate the app on your device and are not sent to us.

Subscriptions and purchases

FocusStepper offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple’s App Store. Payments, billing details, and subscription processing are handled by Apple.

• We do not receive your full payment card information.
• Apple may provide transaction status or entitlement information so the app can determine whether Premium features are active.
• Subscription management, cancellations, and billing changes are handled through your Apple account.

Website and support email

This website does not include a contact form, advertising trackers, or analytics scripts. If you email support, we will receive your email address and any information you choose to include in the message.

Our hosting provider may process standard technical request data, such as IP address, browser details, and server logs, to deliver the website and keep it secure.

How information is used
